This World History course will focus on material ranging from the Enlightenment (Scientific, American and French Revolutions) to the Cold War.We will closely examine the people, places and events that have shaped our world today.Included in this course will be a close examination of the different types of government that ran the countries we will learn about and the economic systems that funded these governments.

This site will supplement the "Monitoring Marzano" professional development presented by the TCESC School Improvement Department. This is a 4-part series on the implementation and monitoring of the Marzano strategies to determine the effect on student learning: Similarities & Differences and Summarizing & Notetaking.
General biology begins with molecular and cellular biology, from which it moves to reproduction and genetics. This is followed by evolution, classification, microbiology, multi-cellular plants, and is concluded with multi-cellular animals. This sequence helps to build a suitable background for the beginning biology student. Labs are used whenever possible to supplement and reinforce the text materials.
In this course students will become proficient in web designing, Podcasting and video creation. Students will need to bring a set of ear buds to class.
The Marketing Education program consists of two years of study. The first year is spent learning the functions of marketing; product, price, promotion, and place and applying these functions in a real world environment.The junior students operate an in-school store, which is open to the public three hours per day.Students rotate various job stations on a weekly basis.Some job stations include payroll procedures, cashier, deli, advertising, stock, inventory, head cashier, and manager.The junior students supplement their laboratory work with related studies given in class or on an independent basis.
During the senior year, Marketing Education students are co-op.This allows the students to attend school for one half the school day, and work in a marketing related field during the other half of the day. Senior students must be gainfully employed in order to pass and receive certification. Students continue to receive related instruction in regards to the marketing field.Senior students will be required to participate in our school’s job shadowing project, as well as complete several projects throughout the year.Marketing seniors will participate in the schools “Senior Project” activities.
General English 12 is a course designed for seniors who are uncertain whether they will attend a traditional 4-year college upon graduation. Students are required to read a variety of literature, including novels, short stories, and essays; to write short essays in response to literature and in a variety of modes; to complete a vocabulary workbook; and to design and present oral and written projects.
Academic English 11-This course will prepare students to write Modern Language Style papers in preparation for college. We also read a variety of literature books, essays and plays.
The students will have the opportunity to use algebra and geometry during much of this course. The course will include such topics as trigonometry, math analysis, higher degree equations, and analytic geometry.

Most assignments will be worked on in class. Every week you will have a "Friday Assignment". This is an out of class assignment that is due on Friday. Also, every Wednesday, you will have a vocabulary quiz.

Welcome to EDD Senior Project! This is the Moodle page for TCTC's Engineering College Tech Prep course. Engineering Design and Development™ is a research course that requires students to formulate the solution to an open-ended engineering question. With a community mentor and skills gained in their previous courses, students create written reports on their applications, defend the reports, create their own product and submit them to a panel of outside reviewers and peers at the end of the school year.
First semester includes the HSA core which all students will take and will be taught as 2 week units, with both Mrs. Reader & Mrs. DiMauro as instructors. Students will change groups within the semester so that they will get to know all students within the program.
